Growing up as a child mental health was seldom discussed or given importance. As I became an adult I was inspired to pursue a career aimed at breaking the stigma.

Being a part of a movement that prioritizes mental health as we do for physical health.Let’s normalize visiting our therapist when our mental health is being impacted as we do when we experience physical pain and visit our primary doctor’s. It all begins when we shift our mindset and think of mental health as something welcoming rather than a prescription.

I am honored to share a space where we can work towards a collaborative approach and a safe environment. I believe in post traumatic growth. A growth that can blossom from the cracks that feel so painful.I approach this relationship with humanity and compassion.

My sole purpose has been to help people who’ve been through “The little t’s and big T’s of trauma.” I offer this invitation to trust the process, pay attention to your body and consider which tools make you feel good.

This is why I became a therapist! Let’s begin! Si se puede!

I have received training in evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which focuses on identifying and challenging cognitive distortions that often occur automatically and replacing them with more helpful thoughts, leading to transformative change. Additionally, I offer Seeking Safety, a program designed to help individuals seeking safety from trauma (including PTSD) and substance abuse by teaching coping skills, and grounding techniques, and providing education. I am also certified as both a domestic violence counselor and a parenting coach.

My professional background includes working with domestic violence, sexual assault victims, medical trauma, divorce issues, life transitions, and parenting skills. As a therapist, I integrate various modalities such as CBT, Seeking Safety, and Trauma-Informed approaches to help my clients develop insight and awareness and overcome their current challenges while navigating their path towards personal growth and fulfillment.

As a bilingual therapist, I recognize the influence of culture on our perspectives and interactions with others. I offer a holistic approach acknowledging the interconnectedness of mind, body, and spirit in the therapeutic process.
